![]() ![]() He forgot to change the flavor selections, so we received the exact same ones as before. ![]() My husband and I have ordered refills twice- once ahead of schedule and once on the automated system. Cost could be a factor, but it depends on how one usually spends beverage money to begin with and when it comes to health, this is definitely more cost-effective than numerous doctor visits, etc from prolonged unhealthy drink habits and dehydration. While there are nearly as many cons as pros, they are relatively minor issues and many can be worked out (hopefully they will be) and would not deter me from staying with the program for now. This may be due to the types of flavors in general- the GoSip Black Cherry is going to be an overall stronger flavor than the PureSip Cucumber, for example. Some cartridges seem to run out before others, even on the same flavor settings.Especially for kids who are utilizing this product. If a cartridge lasts on average five to six uses, that is an awful lot of time for germs to develop and spread. While this is easy, I question how sanitary it is. With the Cirkul, the drinking spout is actually attached to the cartridge. With standard water bottles, you can wash after each use. With disposable bottles, you can recycle each bottle. Then, again, you have to remember which side is which or guess which flavor you’ll be drinking due to the cartridges not being labeled. It seems like it would be great for travel but unless you stick with drinking only two or three flavors until the cartridges run out, it’s not very practical. The only storage container offered on their website will hold two cartridges. The packages are, of course but when wanting to change out flavors, it is best to keep the original packing to slip them into in order to identify them. If you intend on having ice cold water for a longer period of time, plan on investing in the stainless steel bottle ($30.00). Just be aware that it doesn’t actually keep it cool. It does still prevent sweating and keep your hand from getting cold, as well as provides an extra grip and comfort so it’s not all bad. The Chill Sleeve… doesn’t actually keep it cool.I have not looked into their return/exchange policy, but it doesn’t seem like it would be worth the hassle anyway. I know it’s a minor detail, but I greatly dislike this standard pink color and would have never ordered it otherwise (first world problems, I know). I was prepared for a bit of variation, but my husband ordered the pink sleeve for me because it looked hot pink online (which I love). The colors are not exactly as they look online.Having an option to pay a couple extra dollars for a 2nd plastic bottle, for example, would have been great. While I understand the business reasoning behind this it doesn’t make sense for multiple people to try to share the water bottle, and we didn’t want to invest a bunch upfront without trying. Let’s not forget the most obvious and main purpose- drinking more water! Resulting in healthier choices and most likely saving money, also.I prefer fresh fruit infused water, but it’s not always the most practical or convenient option. I typically stay at 4-5, but discovered I like my classic coffee flavor at a 10. ![]() I always start out on one and adjust accordingly. ![]() Simply adjust the dial on the lid to a number from 0 (no flavor) to 10 (maximum flavor). You can set how strong you want your flavor.I like that the water remains clear- no turning your lips or tongue blue or red with different flavors. A little snug with the sleeve, but still works. Lid has a hook to hold or clip and the plastic bottle fits into an average-sized cup holder. You can also change the frequency of your shipments or cancel at any time. You can even customize/create your own bottle, although it’s a bit pricey ($50.00, yikes!). Plastic or stainless steel bottles, two different sizes of plastic bottles (smaller one would be great for kids!), lid colors, insulated chill sleeves in 12 different colors and two different sizes, and a filter you can screw into the lid to filter tap water. Collections to choose from include FitSip, GoSip, BrewSip, TeaSip, PureSip, and LifeSip. Caffeinated, caffeine-free, sucralose, stevia, no added sweetness. Over 30 flavors to choose from and you can mix and match flavors from each group. Only $5.00 for the plastic bottle, lid, and two sip cartridges (mixed berry and fruit punch). I am sort of glad he ordered it first because I will drink water by itself more than he will. Since Cirkul only allows one kit per household, I had to wait. I finally got my Cirkul! I told my husband about it three or four weeks ago and he totally hijacked my idea and ordered the starter kit for himself. I actually came here to update my review and discovered it was never published! So I will post the original review and add the updates to the end. ![]()
